Volunteer Commitment & Participation
Our volunteers are an important part of creating meaningful, safe, and inclusive experiences for the people we serve. We appreciate the time, skills, and energy that each volunteer brings to our programs.
By volunteering with us, volunteers agree to fulfill the responsibilities and expectations associated with their role, including following organizational policies and procedures, communicating appropriately, maintaining a safe and respectful environment, and following through on assigned commitments.
We recognize that circumstances can change and that not every volunteer role is the right fit for every individual. If a volunteer is unable to meet the expectations or responsibilities of their role, we will work with them, when appropriate, to clarify expectations, provide support, or explore adjustments to their involvement.
To protect the quality, safety, and integrity of our programs, the organization reserves the right to modify, reassign, pause, or end a volunteer's involvement when expectations cannot be met or when the volunteer's participation is no longer an appropriate fit for the program.
Our goal is always to approach these situations with respect, clear communication, and appreciation for the volunteer's contributions.
